  This was a pleasant find.  Hamburg lies about halfway home from Knoebels for me, so we opted to stop in for dinner to break the drive up for the kids.  Despite the middling ratings, it seemed like one of the better choices in the area, so we took a chance.  Upon arrival, we were greeted by a VERY intoxicated older gentleman exiting the establishment who hadn't quite made it to the restroom.  Not a great omen, but we opted to journey on.
     At around 6 o'clock on a Tuesday, the place wasn't packed, but it was buzzing.  The host quickly pushed two tables together to accommodate our party of eight, and we were seated within 5 minutes.  The menu was pretty typical bar fare: mostly sandwiches, burgers, pizza and fried foods with a few salads and pasta choices thrown in for good measure.  We tried had a variety of dishes including a few burgers, some wings, a taco salad (that was 75% ground beef!), a few kids meal spaghettis and I had the fried clams basket.  Oddly enough, the standout dish was the Dynobites appetizers, which were broccoli fried with cheese and bacon bits inside.  Served with a side of Ranch, despite the inclusion of broccoli, these little nuggets were 0% nutritious, but 100% delicious.  Everyone else reported that their dishes ran from average to good, with the highest marks seemingly belonging to the wings and the Bison Chipotle Burger.  My basket fell into the average range; the clams were about a 50-50 mix of decent sized pieces and small bits, and the clam to french fry ratio leaned way to heavily to the fries (although they were quite good!).
     Service was extremely friendly and patient with a group of four children, but also extremely spotty.  The kitchen couldn't find servers or runners to bring our meals out, so some of the cooks started delivering dishes.  A drink was forgotten, no one checked for refills, etc., etc.  Nothing unforgivable, but enough that everyone's positive attitude didn't quite make up for it.  All in all, if you're in the area you could certainly do far worse, and I wouldn't hesitate to stop in again some time, just limit your expectations.

  We frequently visit on Tuesdays for Wing Night.  2 dozen wings and a pitcher for $14.99 (I think?).  Wings are crispy and hot.  Enough sauce.  Also enjoy the shrimp and corn chowder.  The Westy Fries (fresh cut fries, cheese, bacon, etc.) Nachos, and Pierogies are great appetizers.  I really like the taco melts and the different cheese steak hoagies they offer.  Hot turkey sandwiches also good (put gravy on the fries and sandwich).  
  
  We have never had anything here we didn't like!  Service is always great.

  Great place. Always busy and a huge menu with lots to choose from. Went on. a Saturday night had to wait like 10 mins, which isn't bad for the time..6pm. Line moved very fast. Food came out quick, was huge amounts and tasted very good.
  It was kinda loud which is expected, since we were sitting in the bar area. Last time we were there we watched a wine glass fly off the rack....kinda disappointed it didn't happen this time. We love paranormal stuff. Anyway great place, food and atmosphere. Will be back!

  Good place to stop after hiking all day. Typical bar fare, with Beyond Burger and a couple other options for those avoiding meat. Fries were crispy. Quick service. Nothing special but certainly does the trick.

  Just enjoyed Westy's for the 3rd time within one year.  5 out of 5 stars each visit. GREAT place to eat every time!!! Thank you!
